Welcome to Master Food Photography

My name is Elizabeth, and I’m thrilled that your’e here!

In 2019, I started a blog called Eat. Lift. Be., dedicated to those who want to live a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle, and to my kindred, creative types that also want to enhance their food photography skills. It included gluten free recipes, health and fitness articles, and free educational resources for learning food photography.

Alas, I quickly discovered that while I still wanted to help others, I didn’t want to be in the kitchen anymore. I did however fall in love with photography. So, I transitioned to create Master Food Photography!

In the footer, you will still find links to my old recipes and fitness articles, but all new content is all about helping you grow as a food photographer!

Here you’ll find…

Free Educational Resources

Every once in a while, I try and post an article on the entire approach I took for a specific shoot, or an educational article on an aspect food photography, like composition, colors, crops, and so forth. You can look forward to both written and video posts!

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that along with every post I also add an image of the behind the scenes. On the blog, I will also do the same for some, select images. However, do expect to see even more detail about my approach, and difficulties I faced. After all, I have way more space to write in a blog post, than I do on IG!

A little more about me…

I live in sunny California, right on the beach, with my two pups, Isobelle and Moose. I try to balance life as best I can between being active, in the (home) gym or outside, working my full time corporate job, and growing a photography business. For the most part, I stay insanely busy!

Everything I do these days, of course, is socially distanced, so thank goodness for my two little fur balls.

But most importantly,

I am here to help you grow!

Feel free to reach out with questions, and be sure to join the MFP community, for chances to connect with other photographers, and to participate in fun photo contests!

See you on the blog!
