Healthy Blackberry Lavender Jam: Only 4 Ingredients!
There's nothing better than blackberry and lavender, unless you turn it into this four-ingredient, healthy blackberry lavender jam. Fresh blackberries, combined with some monk fruit, ground lavender, and just a touch of lemon create the perfect, fancy balance of sweet and tart.
Yup, I consider using lavender as 'fancy.'
And if you serve this to guests, they too will think you went to a lot of effort. However, this is actually super easy and super quick to make!
Of course, this jam is also super messy to make.
If you are going to make this, wear an old t-shirt that you don't care about getting blackberry juice all over. Because when you start crushing those simmering berries, the juice sprays. Everywhere! I did not take a picture of my shirt, or my sweatshirt, or my pants after I made it. But if I did, you would have seen new magenta stains all over.
But you know, in my mind, messy food can sometimes be the best food.
So, bring on the mess, and give me some of this blackberry lavender jam. Yum!
Okay, so what do you eat with this jam?
It would be great on French toast, waffles, or pancakes.
Or, just heat up some toast, and spread it right over that.
How about on top of a Blintze?
With a spoon, right out of the jar?
Okay, I am getting hungry for everything now!
I am going to go dive into some food. And you? Well, I think you should go make this recipe. Because it is ridiculously delicious!

Total Time: 25 mins
Ingredients
12 oz fresh blackberries
2 TBSP Monkfruit Sweetener
2 - 3 tsp Lemon Juice, See Notes
1/4 tsp Ground Lavender
Instructions
Place blackberries in a pot or pan over medium to high heat.
Add lemon juice
Once blackberries get hot, begin to crush them using a fork, spoon, potato masher, meat tenderizer, or anything else you have on hand to crush with.
When all berries are crushed, add Monkfruit and ground lavender.
Stir.
Let jam simmer for about 10-20 minutes until about a quarter to half of the liquid has evaporated. This will allow it to help get thicker.
Remove from heat, let cool, and enjoy.
Notes
Will hold up in the fridge for a week.
Lavender should be a culinary blend. Use a coffee grinder or blender to grind up. You don't want the big pieces.
Jam tastes sweeter when hot.
Based on your preferred tartness level, you may add an additional tsp of lemon. I would not add more than one additional tsp.
