Ten Minute Keto White Chocolate Frosting

Hello there, white chocolate. I love you! Yes, those two little sentences could totally sum up my post for this keto white chocolate frosting. Alas, it wouldn't be a post without a few more words.

Fun Fact:

Did you know that white chocolate is not technically chocolate? Seriously. Because it lacks cocoa solids, white chocolate is really just one big facade. Okay, maybe not a massive facade, but it does fool you with its name.  Of course, the fact that it isn't a real chocolate means that this white chocolate frosting is super easy to make. There is no tempering required. No roasting of cocoa beans. And no waiting for long hours of stirring to create this white 'chocolatey' goodness. Instead, we get to very simply replace softened butter with melted cacao butter, and voila! In just ten minutes we have keto white chocolate frosting.

Pretty nifty, right?

Now, if you want to learn more about the differences between chocolate varieties, white chocolate, and how to make it from scratch. Or just want to get pretty much any random fact about chocolate, then I would totally recommend checking out the Chocolate Alchemist. His site is loaded with information on, you guessed it, chocolate! Plus, you will be drooling over all of the pictures.

As for this recipe

I did do my darnedest to get this to taste as similar to white chocolate as possible, which means lots of tasting those white chocolate chips, followed by dipping my finger into that delicious frosting as I tried to match the flavor.  I think I did a pretty good job, but you tell me!  Enjoy!
